Day Shift, 12-hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:00, with weekends and holidays as assigned.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in Behavioral Health will provide care for patients in an inpatient setting, working with a diverse population that includes adolescents, seniors, and adults across varying acuity levels. This role will involve floating to all units as needed, including adult IDD and physical rehabilitation units.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a high-acuity environment.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop treatment plans.
• Conduct assessments and document the patient's progress.
• Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.

Required Experience

• Must have 2+ years of experience in psychiatric nursing in an inpatient setting.
• Experience with a variety of patient populations, including adolescents and seniors.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS certification required.
• Handle with Care training is preferred.
