Schedule/Shift

4x10 hour shifts from 06:30 to 17:00, rotating days Monday through Friday. On-call required, up to 13 weekdays as needed, including 3 weekends per contract and holidays as scheduled.

Job Description

The Cath Lab Tech will provide care in a high-volume cardiac interventional center, working in two catheterization labs and a hybrid operating room. Procedures performed include IABP, Rotablator, Shockwave, Structural, PFO, TAVR, MitraClip, and Watchman. The patient population includes adults and geriatrics, with responsibilities including equipment setup, maintaining sterile fields, hemodynamic monitoring, and assisting in various cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain sterile field for catheterization procedures.
• Assist with device insertions and catheterizations.
• Monitor and report hemodynamic data during procedures.
• Participate in patient education and post-procedure care.
• Maintain equipment and inventory in the Cath Lab.

Required Experience

Minimum of 2 years of recent Cath Lab or interventional scrubbing experience is required.

Certifications/Licensure

• ARRT-R and/or RCIS certification required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
