Cath Lab Technician

Assignment Duration

This is a 16-week contract position.

Schedule

4x10 Hour Shift: 07:00 AM - 05:30 PM, with every other weekend and required holidays as scheduled. On-call duties include 1 day per week and 1 weekend per month.

Job Description

The Cath Lab Technician will provide support in the Cath Lab, assisting with diagnostic and interventional procedures. The technician will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care to adults and geriatric patients with various cardiac conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations.
• Monitor and manage patients during procedures.
• Assist in special procedures such as ASD and PFO closures, TAVR, and PCI.
• Maintain a sterile field and perform scrub duties during procedures.
• Utilize various advanced medical equipment including Impella and IABP consoles.
• Provide emergency interventions as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• RCIS, ARRT, or RTR certification is required.
• Experience with hemodynamic monitoring and various cardiac procedures is preferred.
• First-time travelers with strong Cath Lab experience are accepted.
