Cath Lab Technologist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3x12 hour days (06:30 - 19:00) or 4x10 days (07:00 - 17:30) with required on-call scheduling.

Job Description

The Cath Lab Technologist is responsible for performing various procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab, ensuring a sterile environment, and providing high-quality patient care. This role involves being on-call for night and weekend shifts as per the schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
• Maintain a sterile field during procedures.
• Ensure the proper operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Monitor patient conditions throughout procedures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1 year of recent/cath lab experience; first-time travelers are welcome.
• Licensure: ARRT-R and/or RCIS accepted.
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS required.
• Physical and mental ability to perform essential job functions.
• Experience with cardiac procedures such as PCI, PTCA, and IABP placement/removal.
