ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Telemetry (Night Shift) in Topeka, Kansas.

Night Shift: 3 nights a week (18:45 - 07:15).

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in Telemetry will be responsible for providing care to adult and geriatric patients, focusing on those post-cardiac procedures or surgery. This position requires knowledge and experience in cardiac telemetry and the ability to manage patients on non-titrating drips. Nurses will document using the Epic charting system and work on a unit with a daily census of approximately 26 patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a cardiac telemetry setting.
• Monitor vital signs and assess patient condition.
• Administer medications and manage IVs, including cardiac and vasoactive drips.
• Interpret telemetry readings and respond to dysrhythmias.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams, including PT and respiratory services.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of telemetry nursing experience.
• Experience managing a patient ratio of 6:1.

Certifications/Licensure

• Valid RN license in Kansas or compact state license.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
