ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Telemetry (Night Shift) in Topeka, Kansas.

Schedule/Shift

This position requires a night shift schedule of 3x12-hour shifts (18:45 - 07:15) and involves weekend coverage as required, totaling 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in this Telemetry position will provide care for adult and geriatric patients with cardiac issues, particularly those recovering from cardiac procedures and surgeries. The nurse will administer IV medications and manage drips that are not titrated, including blood product administration. Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, charting using the Epic system, and interpreting dysrhythmias is essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor patients with cardiac telemetry needs.
• Administer medications and blood products as required.
• Interpret dysrhythmias and arterial blood gases.
• Provide patient education and support during recovery.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including Physical Therapy and Pharmacy.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a telemetry or cardiac unit.
• Experience managing a patient ratio of 6:1.

Certifications/Licensure

• Valid RN license in Kansas or compact state license.
• Current certifications in ACLS and BLS.
