Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM. Guaranteed 48 hours with at least every 3rd weekend required.

Job Description

Join our team in a 28-bed Cardiovascular Care Unit specializing in acute cardiac conditions. This unit manages a variety of patients including those requiring catheterization, ablations, stent insertions, and stroke care. We are dedicated to patient safety and high-quality outcomes, maintaining rigorous documentation practices and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care to cardiovascular patients, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Join a highly collaborative team to execute care plans and clinical interventions.
• Conduct daily nurse leader rounds, connecting with patients and addressing their concerns.
• Monitor patient progress and maintain accurate documentation in the Meditech system.
• Support quality improvement initiatives related to healthcare-associated infections (HAIs).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification.
• Basic Dysrhythmia knowledge.
• Experience in cardiac care is preferred.
• Must demonstrate a positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
