ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Telemetry (Night Shift) in Topeka, Kansas.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Night shift, 3x12 hour shifts from 18:45 to 07:15, with a patient ratio of 6:1.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide care in a telemetry unit focused on adult and geriatric patients. The role includes monitoring patients post-cardiac procedures and surgeries, administering medication, and managing drips (non-titrating). Experience with Epic charting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Manage telemetry monitoring and respond to alarms.
• Perform discreet clinical assessments and documentation using Epic.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including respiratory and therapy services.
• Educate patients and families on care processes and procedures.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Previous charge experience is preferred.
• Experience in telemetry nursing is required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current RN license in Kansas or compact state.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
