Job Description
As a Registered Nurse in the Telemetry unit, you will provide expert care for patients with cardiac conditions, including those recovering from procedures and surgeries. You will work in a high-paced environment, monitoring vital signs and managing drips. Familiarity with Epic charting will be an asset in this role.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patients' vital signs and cardiac rhythms.
- Administer medications and manage IVs, including cardiac and vasoactive drips.
- Utilize telemetry equipment for patient monitoring.
- Perform necessary procedures, such as arterial line management, phlebotomy, and hemodialysis management.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety while adhering to isolation protocols.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a telemetry or similar nursing role.
- Previous charge experience is preferred.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current RN license in Kansas or eNLC (Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact) license.
- ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
