Job Description

The Medical Surgical unit is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care. In this role, you will care for a diverse adult patient population, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout their stay. The RN will work with an electronic health record system, Paragon, to maintain accurate patient records.

Responsibilities

• Start IVs, insert Foley catheters, and insert NG tubes.
• Perform EKGs and manage heparin drips.
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the supervisor.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans.

Required Experience

A minimum of 1 year of nursing experience is required, including at least 1 travel assignment completed.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current RN license in North Carolina.
• Required certifications: NIH, ACLS, BLS.
