Registered Nurse - Neuro Unit

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15)
36 or 48 hours accepted. Must float and work every other weekend, along with holidays.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Neuro Unit. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional nursing care to patients suffering from neurological conditions while adhering to a high standard of clinical practice. Candidates must be willing to work as part of a team and commit to the responsibilities of the role.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care in accordance with established standards and protocols.
• Monitor and assess patients' health and medication needs.
• Provide support and communication during catastrophic events and mass casualty situations.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and adhere to unit protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Med-Surg or Neuro setting.
• Current RN license; NC or Compact license pending is acceptable.
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS required; NIHSS preferred.
• Experience with telemetry and IV management is required.
