ARMStaffing is looking for an Occupational Therapist, Inpatient Rehabilitation (Day Shift) in Tacoma, Washington.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Monday to Friday, primarily from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional weekend shifts for a compensated day off during the week.

Job Description

Join the therapy team at a state-of-the-art, 60-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital dedicated to the recovery of individuals facing severe injuries or illnesses. You will work with an adult and older adult patient population, focusing on delivering high-quality rehabilitative care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at rehabilitation.
• Document patient progress and adapt interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Participate in patient education and advocacy to promote independence.

Required Experience

• Inpatient rehabilitation experience is a must.
• Experience with adult and older adult patient populations preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active Occupational Therapy license required.
