Day Shift, 5 days a week, with one weekend required per month.

Job Description

The Occupational Therapist will provide evaluation and treatment in a Short Term Acute Care / Level III Trauma Center. The caseload includes a diverse array of diagnoses such as multi-trauma, spinal cord injury, stroke, surgical, orthopedic, and neurological conditions. The candidate must be flexible and collaborative, working across units including acute, medical, ICU, and the Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions and monitor patient progress.
• Collaborate with team members and participate in interdisciplinary meetings.
• Document patient care using the Epic charting system.
• Adapt treatment methods based on patient needs and departmental protocols.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience required.
• Experience in inpatient rehabilitation is a bonus.
• Ability to manage a patient ratio of 8-9:1.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current Washington State Occupational Therapist License required.
