ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical (Night Shift) in Camden, South Carolina.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

3x12-hour Night shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Requires every other weekend and holidays, including either Christmas or Christmas Eve pending unit need.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide care to patients in the Medical-Surgical unit of a 54-bed acute care hospital. Responsibilities include managing patient care, evaluating patient conditions, administering medications, and documenting patient progress using the Epic charting system. IV start skills are required, and experience in telemetry and management of cardiac drips is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Medical-Surgical unit.
• Monitor and assess patients’ conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document nursing care and patient outcomes accurately in the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Assist with patient education and discharge planning.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of Medical-Surgical RN experience.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current South Carolina RN license or Compact license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
