ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical (Day Shift) in Camden, South Carolina.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

3x12s, Day Shift, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM. Every other weekend and holidays required, including Thanksgiving or Christmas as needed.

Job Description

The Medical Surgical unit has 54 beds and a patient ratio of 1:6. The role may include floating within the scope of practice to meet facility needs and could involve patient management with telemetry and cardiac medications.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to medical-surgical patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient status and communicate changes to the healthcare team.
• Perform necessary procedures including IV starts and management of cardiac medications.
• Maintain accurate patient records using Epic charting system.
• Support patients during their recovery process and through discharge planning.

Required Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a Medical-Surgical nursing role.
• IV start skills and telemetry experience are required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current South Carolina RN license or Compact license required prior to starting.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
