Schedule/Shift

4x10 Day Shift. On-call required one day per week and on the 4th/5th weekend. Weekend coverage includes approximately one Saturday per month as part of the scheduled shifts.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Cath Lab team. This role involves providing high-quality care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and utilizing advanced medical equipment. Familiarity with Epic for charting is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in the Cath Lab setting.
• Perform various cardiac procedures, including angioplasty and stent placements.
• Administer medications and monitor patients before, during, and after procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize Epic for accurate documentation and patient management.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in a Cath Lab or similar setting.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse license for Alaska (must be in hand for auto offer).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
