ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Cath Lab (Day Shift) in Anchorage, Alaska.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Position requires a 4x10 Day Shift with on-call responsibilities: 1 day per week and every 4th/5th weekend (Friday at 1800 - Monday at 0730). Must also be available for approximately 1 Saturday per month as part of the scheduled shifts.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Cath Lab will provide care to adult and geriatric patients undergoing cardiovascular interventions. The Nurse will utilize Epic for charting and may float to the Electrophysiology (EP) or Interventional Radiology (IR) departments as needed. Responsibilities will include monitoring and administering various procedures such as angioplasty, stent placements, and cardiac catheterizations.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients in the Cath Lab with a focus on cardiovascular interventions.
• Utilize Epic for charting patient information and procedures.
• Monitor patients during procedures, including hemodynamic monitoring and procedural sedation.
• Respond to emergencies and assist in the management of dysrhythmias.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.

Required Experience

Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting, with experience in advanced cardiac procedures.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active RN license in Alaska (must be in hand for auto offer).
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
