ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Cath Lab (Day Shift) in Anchorage, Alaska.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

This position follows a 4x10 hour Day Shift schedule with on-call requirements of 1 day per week and the 4th/5th weekend. Travelers will also be on call and expected to work approximately 1 Saturday per month as part of their scheduled shifts.

Job Description

This role involves working in a Magnet Facility, Level II Trauma Center that has been recognized as the Best Hospital in Alaska by USNWR. The Cath Lab unit specializes in various interventional procedures, requiring skilled nursing support for adult and geriatric populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab.
• Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including interventional cardiology.
• Administer medications and monitor patients undergoing procedures.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care accurately using the Epic charting system.
• Participate in on-call rotations and weekend requirements as specified.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab.
• Experience in Electrophysiology (EP) preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alaska or pending license accepted with proof of future licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
