Night Shift: 3x12 hours, from 18:30 to 07:00, with set consecutive nights TBD.

Job Description

The MRI Technologist will work in the Radiology department and be responsible for performing a variety of MRI procedures on patients, including extremities, abdomen, spine, pelvis, head, chest, thorax, and musculoskeletal imaging. The scope of work involves operating the Siemens Magnetom Aera MRI equipment while ensuring patient safety and comfort, maintaining the quality of the imaging process, and adhering to all safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI exams on various body parts as directed.
• Prepare and administer contrast media as required for specific imaging qualifications.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
• Maintain cleanliness and operational functionality of the MRI equipment.
• Document all procedures accurately using the Epic charting system.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of MRI technologist experience required.
• Experience in emergency room (ER) settings is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current ARRT MR certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• A valid Washington state license in Radiologic Technology is required.
• Pending licenses are acceptable at the time of submission.
