Schedule/Shift

Blocked schedule, 40 hours per week; 4x10 hour shifts with weekends, holidays, and on-call as per unit need.

Job Description

Join a fast-paced, state-of-the-art environment providing specialized patient care to adult inpatients and outpatients undergoing interventional radiology procedures. Responsibilities include preparing patients, intra-procedure monitoring, and post-procedure recovery, including PACU and extended stay (23-hour). As part of the critical embolization response team for trauma patients, you will utilize critical thinking and strong communication skills while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for interventional radiology procedures.
• Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety and comfort.
• Assist with post-procedure recovery in PACU and extended stay settings.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver care effectively.

Required Experience

• 1 year of recent interventional radiology experience.
• Telemetry experience.

Certifications/Licensure

• New York State Registered Nurse license.
• BLS (AHA) certification.
• ACLS (AHA) certification.
