Job Description

Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the fast-paced environment of Diagnostic Imaging. You will be responsible for preparing patients for various imaging studies including CT and MRI, as well as nuclear medicine studies. This position requires excellent critical thinking and IV skills, with experience in contrast administration being a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for CT, MRI, and nuclear medicine studies.
• Administer contrast agents as necessary.
• Provide patient education and support throughout procedures.
• Demonstrate critical thinking in patient assessment and care.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Demonstrable excellent critical thinking skills.
• IV skills are required; experience with contrast administration is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current RN License in New York.
• BLS (American Heart Association) required.
• ACLS and PALS are preferred but not required.
• Telemetry experience is required.
