Monday-Thursday, 8 PM - 6 AM, with holidays as needed.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure patient comfort during scanning procedures and efficiently operate the MRI machine. This role requires coordination with physicians to ensure timely diagnostic imaging and results. Familiarity with medical terminology and the ability to stand for extended periods are essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility.
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging.
• Prepare patients for scans, explaining procedures to ensure comfort.
• Insert IVs when necessary for the tests.
• Document all procedures while maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Provide patient care tasks as needed.

Required Experience

• Two (2) years of experience as an MRI Technologist.
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is highly desired.
• New York State Rad Tech license is required (must be willing to obtain).
• Injection certification is mandatory.
• Experience with GE scanners is required.
