Tuesday - Friday, 12:30pm - 11pm EST; holidays as needed.

Job Description

We are seeking an MRI Technologist to join our team. You will operate the MRI machine efficiently, ensuring that patients feel comfortable before and during the scanning procedure. You will also coordinate with patients' physicians to ensure timely results, maintain a clean and safe scanning facility, and document all procedures while adhering to patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility.
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging.
• Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedure to enhance comfort.
• Insert IVs as needed for tests.
• Document all procedures while maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Perform patient care tasks as necessary.

Required Experience

• Two (2) years of experience as an MRI Technologist.
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience.

Certifications/Licensure

• BLS (American Heart Association ONLY).
• Certification through the ARRT is preferred.
• New York State Radiation Technologist license (must be obtained after starting).
• Injection certification required.
• Experience with GE scanners is essential.
