This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 3 shifts per week with 6 weekend shifts required in a 6-week schedule.

Job Description

The Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy. This position requires critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in planning and delivering safe patient care. The RN will maintain clinical competencies through continuing education, oversee patient care priorities, and provide guidance to assigned personnel.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to patients within the Medical-Surgical/Telemetry units.
• Monitor and evaluate patient condition and progress.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary teams.
• Document all patient care activities accurately in Cerner EMR.
• Float between departments as needed across the designated facilities.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active Arizona RN License.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
