ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, PCU/Tele (Night Shift) in Tucson, Arizona.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

This position requires working night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week and a guarantee of 48 hours. Additionally, you will need to work six weekend shifts in a six-week schedule.

Job Description

The PCU/Tele RN will evaluate assigned patients and plan, implement, and document nursing care. The nurse will assist physicians during examinations and procedures, perform various patient tests, and administer medications within the registered nurse's scope of practice. The role involves promoting patient independence by establishing care goals and educating patients and families on conditions, medications, and self-care skills. The RN will rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish care goals while performing a variety of tasks in a float pool capacity among multiple facilities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and document patient care.
• Assist physicians with examinations and procedures.
• Perform patient tests and administer medications.
• Establish patient care goals and provide education on self-care.
• Float between departments as needed.

Required Experience

2+ years of experience in a nursing role is required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
