Nights, 4x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00) during weekdays and weekends.

Job Description

The Medicine Unit at Mon Health Medical Center is a 34-bed unit focused on managing acute medical-surgical patients with diverse diagnoses and care needs. This fast-paced environment requires adaptable and well-prepared Registered Nurses to provide care in complex situations. Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Interact with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient care activities in Cerner EMR.
• Support patients and families through education and emotional support.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience in a medical-surgical setting is required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current BCLS certification.
• ACLS certification required.
• NIH certification required.
• West Virginia RN license or Compact License required; pending license accepted for submission.
