This position offers a night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a guaranteed 48 hours per week.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department will provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patients in a fast-paced environment. This role requires the ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to the medical team.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
Required Experience
- Valid RN license in the state of Florida.
- Previous experience in an Emergency Department setting preferred.
Certifications/Licensure
- BLS certification required.
- ACLS certification preferred.
