Job Description
The Emergency Department at a facility with a capacity of 54 beds and a staff of 125 is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, patient-centered care. This position requires working in a fast-paced environment, effectively managing time, and prioritizing patient care.
Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care in the Emergency Department.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to manage and evaluate patient conditions.
- Utilize Meditech electronic health records for documentation and communication.
- Adhere to unit guidelines and policies.
- Participate in the training and supervision of nursing assistants and paramedics.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting.
- Strong prioritization and time management skills.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications are required.
