ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Emergency Room (Night Shift) in Westfield, New York.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

This position requires a rotating schedule with 3 × 12 hour night shifts per week, totaling 36 hours. Weekend work is required every other weekend.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include assessing patient conditions, developing and implementing nursing care plans, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial patient assessments and triage patients in the emergency department.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Perform nursing procedures and administer medications per physician orders.
• Document patient care accurately and promptly in EMR systems.
• Educate patients and families about treatment options and care plans.

Required Experience

• Current New York RN license.
• 1+ years of experience in an Emergency Room setting preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Previous experience with FLU and COVID vaccination protocols.
