ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Emergency Department (Night Shift) in Oswego, New York.

This is an 8-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

12-hour nights, 36 hours weekly, with a shift from 7 PM to 7 AM.

Job Description

The Emergency Department RN will provide compassionate and effective care to patients in a busy emergency setting. The role involves working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to assess and address patient needs, ensuring high-quality care is delivered at all times.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate care and treatment to patients presenting with emergency conditions.
• Perform triage assessments and manage patient flow within the emergency department.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed while monitoring patient responses.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members regarding care and treatment plans.

Required Experience

• 1+ years of experience in an emergency department setting.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Certifications/Licensure

• Diploma from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current New York State licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
