Schedule/Shift

Scheduled for 4x10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with rotating days off based on unit staffing needs. No weekends or holidays required.

Job Description

The Maternal Fetal Ultrasound Technician will work closely with the Maternal Fetal Medicine team to provide high-quality ultrasound services to patients. The technician will be responsible for performing and analyzing a range of ultrasound procedures, focusing on maternal and fetal health.

Responsibilities

• Perform maternal-fetal ultrasound examinations including 1st trimester, 2nd trimester, and 3rd trimester scans.
• Conduct Doppler studies, fetal anatomical surveys, fetal echo assessments, and gender determination.
• Document ultrasound findings accurately in the electronic medical record (preferably using Epic).
• Maintain equipment and adhere to safety and operational protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.

Required Experience

• At least 2 years of experience specifically in Maternal Fetal Medicine and OB/GYN ultrasound.
• Experience with high risk OB procedures and challenges.

Certifications/Licensure

• BLS certification.
• NT certification.
• ARDMS certification in OB/GYN is required.
