Job Description

The Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer will be responsible for performing detailed ultrasounds and reporting findings to the MFM physicians at Sacred Heart Medical Center and Holy Family Hospital. This role focuses on high-risk patients experiencing maternal or fetal conditions, thus requiring proficiency in detailed ultrasound imaging including fetal echo. Sonographers will also assist in procedures such as amniocentesis, amnio reduction, CVS, and PUBS.

Responsibilities

• Perform between 7-9 detailed ultrasounds daily.
• Report ultrasound findings to the MFM physicians.
• Assist with amniocentesis, amnio reduction, CVS, and PUBS procedures.
• Utilize Epic for documentation.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in OB-GYN ultrasound.
• Outpatient experience required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current BLS certification.
• ARDMS certification in OB/GYN and NT is required.
