Shift: 07:00-19:00
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week.

Job Description

As a Registered Nurse in the Medical-Surgical unit, you will be providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages. This role includes working in a 44-bed unit with a patient ratio of 1:6, utilizing Meditech as the electronic health record system.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Medical-Surgical unit.
• Maintain accurate patient records using Meditech.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide optimal patient outcomes.
• Respond to patient needs and communicate effectively with patients and families.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures.

Required Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in Medical-Surgical nursing.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current RN license in Tennessee.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
