Schedule/Shift

Shifts are from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, covering 12 hours with a guaranteed 36 hours weekly.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department will provide high-quality care to patients in urgent need. This role involves rapid assessment and effective interventions to stabilize patients in critical condition, necessitating quick decision-making and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients upon arrival.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Monitor and document changes in patients' conditions.
• Assist in medical procedures and ensure a sterile environment.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care and treatment plans.

Required Experience

Recent clinical experience in an emergency department or a related high-acuity area is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

Current RN licensure in the state of North Carolina is required. BLS and ACLS certifications are preferred.
