Schedule/Shift
6:45 AM - 7:15 PM, with every other weekend commitment. Floating to all sections in the Emergency Department is required.
Job Description
Join the team at a premier hospital recognized for clinical excellence and safety. As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will provide critical care to a diverse patient population in our busy Level II trauma center. You will work with advanced equipment and documentation systems while being part of a highly collaborative team focused on patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to emergency department patients.
- Utilize AIDET principles to enhance patient experience.
- Monitor and document patient conditions using Cerner.
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team in the Emergency Department.
- Assist in triaging patients and managing patient flow in the unit.
Required Experience
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in an emergency room setting. Experience in a Level II trauma center and high-volume emergency departments preferred.
Certifications/Licensure
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS certifications required prior to starting date.
- ENPC certification required within 90 days of hire.
