Job Description
As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will be an integral part of a dedicated team, providing exceptional care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced environment. Your responsibilities will include assessing patient needs, implementing care plans, and collaborating with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and ensure accurate documentation.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs.
- Monitor patient progress and make adjustments to care as necessary.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and health management.
Required Experience
- Active RN license in the state of North Carolina.
- Previous experience in an Emergency Department setting preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
Certifications/Licensure
- BLS certification required.
- TNCC and other relevant certifications preferred.
