ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Circulator (Day Shift) in Belfast, Maine.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

The work schedule is 4 days a week, with shifts from 6:45 AM to 4:15 PM, totaling 36 guaranteed hours per week. On-call hours will begin on Friday at 4:15 PM until Monday morning at 6:45 AM, with rotating holiday call and weekend on-call requirements.

Job Description

This role involves working in the Operating Room with a focus on various specialties including Endoscopy, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Gynecology, ENT, Urology, and Ophthalmology. You will be responsible for providing nursing support and ensuring quality patient care during surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Function as a Circulator in the Operating Room environment.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Monitor patients' conditions and provide necessary interventions.
• Assist in maintaining a sterile environment and proper use of surgical instruments.

Required Experience

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a surgical setting required. Scrub experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred.
