Job Description
The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room will provide comprehensive care to patients experiencing emergent medical situations. The role demands critical thinking and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assess and triage patients based on severity of condition.
- Administer medications and emergency treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document all patient interactions and care in the Cerner charting system.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures, adhering to safety standards.
Required Experience
- 2+ years of previous ER experience.
- Previous travel experience is highly preferred.
Certifications/Licensure
- ACLS and BLS Provider status required.
- CCRN, CEN, TNCC, and ENPC certifications are a plus.
