ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Emergency Department (12 Hour Day Shift) in Springfield, Vermont.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

This position requires a 12-hour day shift from 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM, with every other weekend and holidays as needed.

Job Description

The Emergency Department at Springfield Hospital is open 24/7 and handles approximately 14,000 patient visits annually. As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will assess and respond to patients' needs, ensuring the highest quality of care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and triage patients based on severity of condition.
• Administer medications and provide treatments as necessary.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team for effective patient care.
• Document all patient interactions and care provided in accordance with hospital policy.

Required Experience

• 2+ years of current Emergency Department experience in a hospital setting.
• Minimum of 3 months travel experience preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active Vermont RN license or Compact.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• American Heart Association ACLS certification.
• Active Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification.
• American Heart Association PALS certification.
