ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Emergency Department (Night Shift) in Spokane, Washington.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

The position requires typical weekend coverage, with a patient ratio of 1 RN to 4 patients. Shifts are 3x12 hours, either from 07:00 to 19:00 or from 19:00 to 07:00.

Job Description

This role is in a high acuity adult Emergency Department that serves as a regional referral center for trauma, cardiac, and stroke patients. The department experiences approximately 175 visits per day with a daily average of over 50 ambulance presentations. Clinicians will be responsible for providing care within the Emergency Department and may also be required to work in ED holding.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in a busy Emergency Department setting.
• Manage patients requiring continuous IV sedation and ICP monitoring.
• Assist with STEMI and stroke care, ensuring timely intervention and transfer to appropriate care areas.
• Perform triage and assess patient needs promptly.
• Document patient care and assessments accurately using the Epic charting system.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with previous charge experience preferred.
• Experience in a Level I Trauma Center or high-acuity Emergency Department is advantageous.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of Washington or a compact license.
• Required certifications include ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and TNCC.
