ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Operating Room (4/10-hour days) in Sitka, Alaska.

Schedule/Shift

4/10-hour days, Tuesday through Friday with on-call coverage required 1/3 share.

Job Description

This position is located within the Operating Room of SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium. We handle various elective and emergency cases, including abdominal, thoracic, urology, ENT, plastic, orthopedics, vascular, and OB/GYN. The RN will multi-task efficiently, ensuring that surgical cases proceed throughout the day in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and delivery of surgical care in the Operating Room.
• Collaborate effectively with surgical teams to prioritize patient safety and care quality.
• Ensure timely and efficient operation of surgical cases throughout the day.
• Utilize after-hour call services to staff Operating Rooms during nights, holidays, and weekends.

Required Experience

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing (BSN, Associate degree in nursing or Diploma in nursing).
• Valid, current, full, and unrestricted RN license in the State of Alaska.
• 3 years of Operating Room experience.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Experience in Critical Access Hospital and/or Rural Operating Rooms strongly preferred.
