ARMStaffing is looking for a CT Scan Technologist, Outpatient (Day Shift) in Reno, Nevada.

Schedule/Shift

This position requires a schedule of 3x12-hour shifts, Monday to Wednesday, with varied times from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. There are no call requirements.

Job Description

The CT Scan Technologist will produce diagnostic CT scans under the supervision of the CT Supervisor, assisting the radiologist in diagnostic procedures while ensuring optimal patient care. The role involves coordinating daily workflow and assisting in the throughput of emergency, inpatient, and outpatient cases. The technologist will maintain quality control and be responsible for administering IV contrast materials as directed by the radiologist.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures of the human body based on departmental protocols.
• Assist radiologists in diagnostic CT scan procedures.
• Maintain current CPR certification and participate in mandatory in-services.
• Optimize patient care through assessment, planning, and exam evaluation for all age groups.
• Manage workflow, and coordinate with the CT department to ensure quality outcomes.

Required Experience

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a related CT department is required.
• Experience in trauma care is essential.
• Travel experience is required.

Certifications/Licensure

• American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) certification (R).
• ARRT certification in CT (AART).
• State of Nevada license for Medical Radiography.
• AHA BLS certification within 60 days of hire.
