Schedule/Shift

GH 36, 4x9, Wednesday - Saturday. Varied shifts may be required, including weekends and holidays.

Job Description

This position is accountable for providing quality Physical Therapy services under the supervision of the Therapy Supervisor and Manager. The Physical Therapist provides comprehensive physical therapy services to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients within the acute care setting, addressing gait and transfer limitations, orthotic/prosthetic training, and wound care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to develop appropriate plans of care.
• Implement therapeutic interventions and provide rehabilitation services through discharge.
• Provide direct clinical supervision to staff physical therapy assistants and rehab technicians.
• Participate in program development and outcome measurement within the clinical setting.
• Float between various facilities as needed, based on patient census and clinical needs.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience preferred.
• Rehabilitation or Skilled Nursing Facility experience will be considered.
• Prior travel experience is required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current Physical Therapist license in Nevada is required.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
