Job Description
The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department will provide comprehensive care to patients in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include triaging patients, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to facilitate effective patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Triage and assess patient needs in the Emergency Department.
- Prepare and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Document all patient care effectively using Epic charting.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to optimize patient care.
- Participate in patient and family education.
Required Experience
- Three (3) years of recent Emergency Department experience.
- Completed at least one contract assignment while traveling.
- High volume/fast pace experience preferred.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current New Jersey or Compact RN License.
- AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- NIHSS certification.
