Flexible shifts available: 7a-7p, 3p-3a, and 7p-7a, with every other weekend commitment.

Job Description

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced ED environment. The role entails critical assessment, treatment, and supervision of patients in emergency situations utilizing the EPIC documentation system.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and provide appropriate interventions.
• Administer medications and manage intravenous (IV) therapy as needed.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Required Experience

A minimum of 3 years of experience in an Emergency Room setting is required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current New Jersey Registered Nurse (NJ-RN) License.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification.
