ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Emergency Department (Night Shift) in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Three 12-hour night shifts per week, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with two weekend shifts or four weekend days per six weeks. Holidays as needed, no call required.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department will provide high-quality care to a diverse patient population. This position requires proficiency in electronic medical record systems, specifically Epic, and familiarity with a variety of clinical procedures. The role includes managing conditions such as trauma, stroke, and cardiac emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Assess and triage patients according to their needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members.
• Document patient care activities accurately in Epic.

Required Experience

A minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department is required. Previous charge RN or Level 2 trauma experience is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Required: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Preferred: CPI, PALS, TNCC certifications
• Active Nursing license must be in hand at submission.
