ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Emergency Department (Night Shift) in Greensboro, North Carolina.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

3x12-hour Night Shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM. Requires 2 weekend shifts or 4 weekend days every 6 weeks. Holidays as needed; no call required.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department provides care to a diverse patient population, managing various emergency cases including trauma and critical conditions. The nurse will be involved in documentation using the Epic system and will work alongside interdisciplinary teams for patient support.

Responsibilities

• Assess and triage patients in the Emergency Department.
• Administer medication and treatments as per established protocols.
• Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in patient conditions.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using the Epic system.
• Lead and mentor junior nursing staff, as needed.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Emergency Department required.
• Previous Charge RN and Level 2 Trauma experience preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certification required.
• CPI, PALS, and TNCC certification preferred.
• Active RN license required at submission.
