Job Description

Join our team as a Med-Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse! You will be responsible for providing patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment, requiring flexibility to float between Telemetry and Med-Surg units. Additionally, experience with stroke patients is a must as you'll manage various conditions including neuro, cardiac, orthopedic, and general medical patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and support to individuals with diverse medical needs.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes.
• Administer medications, perform treatments, and document care in Cerner.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Float between Med-Surg and Telemetry units based on facility needs.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of Med-Surg/Telemetry experience.
• Previous charge experience is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current and valid California RN license.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
