ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Inpatient Rehabilitation (Day Shift) in Savannah, Georgia.

Schedule/Shift

Day shift, working 3 consecutive 12-hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:00.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will oversee the delivery of quality patient care in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. The RN will implement and supervise the nursing care plan, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure effective patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission to develop individualized care plans.
• Identify patient and family teaching needs based on nursing assessments and collaborate with the care team.
• Participate in weekly team conferences to report patient information and updates.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record.
• Engage in patient rehabilitation programs and prioritize patient education based on identified health care needs.
• Initiate discharge planning and patient education from the day of admission.
• Facilitate communication regarding patient status changes among care providers, ensuring continuity of care.
• Supervise and train ancillary nursing personnel, providing direction and guidance in patient care.
• Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to hospital safety policies and procedures.
• Contribute positively to the unit's functioning, promoting team collaboration and efficiency.

Required Experience

Minimum of two (2) years of bedside clinical experience is highly desired.

Certifications/Licensure

• BLS certification required prior to first shift.
• ACLS certification required prior to first shift (for CIRH only).
