Registered Nurse - Medical ICU

Night shift, 12-hour rotations.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

Join our fast-paced Medical ICU team, managing a diverse patient population with conditions including sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, type 2 diabetes, alcohol use/abuse, substance abuse, status epilepticus, and encephalopathy. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing critical care and ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage patients on ventilators and other advanced medical equipment.
• Administer medications and implement treatment plans as per physician orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide high-quality patient care.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting.
• Active RN license.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required.
